Backlinks and nofollow

    Hello all,

I have been reading around here (and not only) that one of the best method to increase your site reachability, PR and so on, is getting as many backlinks as you can for your website. Of course, I know that only backlinks don't make miracles, you need to have some good content on blog/website.
But speaking about backlinks, how you can take advantage of this today, as from my checkings, more than 80% of the backlinks are marked "nofollow"?
I know about paid backlinks, but come on, I have seems some providers asking up to 250$ for 10 backlinks. Also there are people asking 50$ for 1000 backlinks, but I'm a little bit skeptical about the quality of this 1000 links.

What I want to ask, is there out a quality way to build backlinks with dofollow and the resonable price (links to be in the niche of your website, not everywhere around) or for free?
Or I missunderstood the point and nofollow backlinks are as good as dofollow backlinks?

Thank you for your time to reply my question!

As the PR goes up, the more valuable the link from it.
But you must see about OBL(out back link-CMIIW) too, the more link to out, the value become less.

usually, The quality determine its price.
paid backlink usually in blogroll, so besides it gives value in SEO, it will also generate few traffic, because the link placed on eye catching place.
The paid backlink from cheap, usually placed at comment (maybe dofollow, maybe not)

quality way to make backlinks is by doing it yourself, but if you have money, like rich company, they will hire SEO service to do it

If you want to grab top ranking at major search engines for keywords that you target, "nofollow" is useless for SEO purposes. So you need to focus the "dofollow".

That's the way I'd see it, too. If google ignores all nofollow is an open question. For ones SEO-efforts one should focus on getting dofollow links from pages that are backlinked well, too.
