Backlinks again I need to check backlinks to my site but most of tools don’t allow to see the whole picture. Is there a method to fetch all backlinks to my site. It’ll be cool to see competitor’s backlinks as well )
Unfortunately Yahoo site explorer shows only internal links and only few inbound links (Google no no). I need to see full picture of inbound links to my site The question is what should I put to my HTML code to make Google recognize me as owner of the site and where on Google I can see inbound links to my site.
Firefox browser with SEO tools to see Yahoo listed backlinks - and then I check them to make sure they were not dropped. For Google, Webmaster tools, Links, pages with external links.
You need to go to Google Webmaster Tools, you'll find out there ways to verify your site, and see more backlinks than google shows in the search listings. www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
I second Google Webmaster Tools - I think that is the best way to go and if you don't already have an account setup this is a good excuse to do so - lot's of other reasons to sign up for it.

type the following in the google search bar - link:http://www.example.com to check the backlink of your website in google.
