My opinion high pr site incoming backlinks (do follow) is still important. It's real seo strategy is changing, but we can't overlook this.

We've been doing back linking to other site for years and we have seen result on what we are doing. One good point why you should do back linking is to prove that your site is visible to other websites.

Links are very important to get ranking and the traffic for the site.

 

Of course it is. Everyone is still doing the same and even google considering the same. But all we have to get is quality backlinks from the quality sites/pages (getting the links from quality sites and relevant sites will be a plus for us in achieving good PR).

 

Backlinks are the source or I would say the juice of your hard work. They are basically double edge weapon so care must be observed while working with them.
