I wonder when you do backlink building (blog and forums comments, directories, etc..) you use the same IP or always different? If you tried both, did you noticed how it influence seo results? Thanks
Your own IP address has nothing to do with backlink building to these types of places. The only reason people hide behind proxies is to prevent those sites from banning their geographic IP. The IP of the website is important in terms of backlinking such as country basis and IP classification. You should always *try* to build links from the Class- C IP address range. Ryan
Even this has been de-mystified directly from some Google associates, so just as long as your websites are not crosslinking to each other, you'd be fine. Google is smart enough to know domain registrants/nameservers/and other things, so same IP or not they can still likely tell if you're crosslinking.
Well you are defining same ip address and comments. it will really help to increase traffic of your site due to backlink builds on your site.. so hope you send some backlinks site.. thanks
the IP is connected only to the site you are posting to, google doesn't look at it. google will look at the number of backlinks created, not the IPs
Unique IP is always preferred for link building as the IP has various class like A, B, C and D the best if A class IP where you have different ip slot, in B class IP you have one slot similar and the other three are different and in C class you have two slots similar and the other two are different and in D class only one slot is different. Mainly the majority of link builders call d class IP as c class IP. I must say IP is important the more unique IP back links you have the larger will be the benefit to the website. Thanks, AG
Its mostly happens in wordpress blogs when I comment the page is just refresh..and my comment dont show..
you should builds backlinks in some education(*.edu, *.gov..) site. I think these very good. good luck
dam stupid bot why can't we crosslinking our own sites? unless of course if there's bad seed (blackhat, etc), i won't link it to any of my blog networks.
Backlinks are counted based on different URL's not IP. You can have unlimited unique backlinks from example. blogspot. com domains which are hosted on the same IP and the same blogspot. com main domain since subdomains are different unique domains. Also your different internal pages of your same domain on the same URL are counted as unique backlinks. However your same URL on different internal pages of the same domain (like sitewide links) are counted as 1 backlink.
