What has worked for you guys to get lots of backlinks? I see in DP directory submission, blog submission, topsite submission and other sumissions. Did you guys spend money to build link. If did how much? Guide me where to start building links?
I have done directory submission, some blog submission, link exchanges and put links in my signature on DP. I have not spent a dime and am ranked in top 20 for at least 2 of my keywords. I am still working on the others. It takes time and patience.
It really depends on how competitive your keywords are, if you want to rank hig for competitive keywords you will have to build a lot of quality links. Directories both free and paid is a good way to start.
Directory submission, forums posting, submission to social bookmarking sites, blog commenting and any technique that can give me backlinks.
If you're going to spend any money building links I would suggest paying someone who is well respected for their advice and help.
