My blog is all about work at home jobs. I submitted to the directory of other high google ranking work at home website (not blog) with the exchange of link. But I did not see any backlink from those website, but when I exchange link with other high PR blog the backlink shows. So is it no value of exchange link with website?

 

Most of link exchanging business mixed with fraud.
So try signature in forums,blog comments,link directories free regular backlinks

 

There are very rare directories which give backlink..
so just depending on Directories wont give u backlinks..

 

May be use social bookmarks for help your rank.

 

make sure the page from they are providing you link is not restricted from crawler if it is the case you can see the link on page but you will not get any benefit of that.

check for rel="nofollow" in anchor text and also check for domain . com / robots.txt for this .

 

May be you must try to get backlink in do follow blog... tq

 

make sure your link isnt NO FOLLOW... and make sure you have google analytic on your site and then have somebody click on that link for ya.. as soon as analytic see the traffic coming from that site THAT link will be then indexd as back link.. This is what i always do for my sites

Keep looking for links from sites with a good PR and use multiple back links sources such as article directories, directories, do following blog and forum posting

Moonheart just get plenty of Backlinks from Forums with your Anchor Text links dude.I am sure you will in SERPS in no time

 

Some time taking months to index the links.. so need to worry much.. better use some third party tool like backlinkwatch to check it

 

article marketing from (authority sites) is the best way to get backlinks that counts by google no metter what is the pr.

Get back links on relevant and DoFollow blogs. Google gives more value on these kinds of back links.

 

What did you use to check your backlinks? If you used Yahoo, I think you will see them all there if those links were already crawled. You would also see your complete links in Google Webmaster Tools if it's already made available, it takes time for Google to show your backlinks.

 

Once you update your link to the directories then check the code of the page. If the code states as rel=nofollow against your link then your link is not taken in to consideration by the search engines.
This applies to both blogs and directories.

Most of the link exchange directory or programs are full scam.
DO NOT, DO NOT go with them they will spoil the SEO work done by you already.

 

i think, everyone must be careful with link exchange offer.
