Backlink vs link popularity ?

    I am confused about backlink vs link popularity, one of my domains when I
    checkit on iwebtool linkpopularity following is result.
    Google 1
    MSN 6
    Yahoo 87
    Total Backlinks 94
    when I check backlink
    comes up with nothing :confused:
    another question does link popularity adds any value to the domain?

    Link popularity is from the search engines. Backlinks are from physical sites that linked to you.

    This is a tough question.. depends on what you mean by value. I consider them as valuable since there is a chance that users can locate your site through the search engines database.
