Actually, the GWT will update way more often than web search does. It's why it's an event when it happens, and their are people who actually keep a calendar of it: http://www.seologs.com/google-updates.html -Michael
I did not know that. thanks for the info. First update I've seen since Apr/May timeframe. I'm just verrah happah!
It was indexed by Google a few months ago, so it is fairly new, but I'm still worried that it doesn't pick up even one backlink with the "link:domain.com" command. Oh well, more work to be done.
So it has - Google's Webmaster tools now shows 252 links up form 0. Still doesn't show using link: though.
yeah sure google update the backlinks on webmasters tools.i had none and now i have 950! but when you use the link: no results found! is tihis in anyway related with pr update? it will be close?
i shall be checking all mine to find out if any of the submission and link building has worked its wonders. have all the DC's updated now?
Haha, if I do link:site.com I get 0 results, but if I go "PR prediction from iWebTool", I get 230 backlinks, predicted pr4. Is that strange, or is it just 'cause I'm new to this?
I did, I got 2 more Google Alerts after that, one on the 23rd and one on the 29th... but when I checked manually, nadda had changed, and neither of the backlinks they showed (pretty sure they only alert the top 10 serps) were present. I'm going to be finishing a multi-dc rank checking tool soon (hopefully soon, anyways), and will incorporate a multi-dc backlink check into it... might shed some insight. -Michael
