    Hello all...

I am looking for some software that can keep track of backlinks that you manually work to get.

    Basically I want this....

    1. I get a backlink approved
    2. I enter it, and the URL in to the "program" and forget about it.
    3. one day i decide to query all of the pages that have given me links
    4. I am presented of a list of links that are still there, the PR of that page
    5. I also want it to track anchor txt
    6. ...so that i can sort and see how many links i have made with the keywrd xxxxxxx

Does anyone know of any application out there like this?

Usually google's method for backlink tracking is never up to date.

Grobar, that sounds like a nice prog to have, it would probably be best if it was web based, with a history too....

I might have to build it.

Does linksmanager show anchor text links pointing to you?

I use LinkAssistant for these purposes (thougt it was primarily designed for a wider range of tasks) - but they haven't implemented the "anchor text" feature yet, and only promise to make it available in the nearest release

I used linksmanager a couple of years ago and it worked well for reciprocal links. At the time in only showed you if a site was linking back to you. The software sends out a spider and crawls the sites that you've exchanged links with. This is a monthly service that charges 19.95$/per month.

LinksManager and the new Arelis Beta have the most comprehensive features. While Links Manager is hosted service, Arelis is a desktopt tool, but better for managing multiple sites. Do a google search for arelis beta and you should have it.

Have just tried the new arelis beta. There was a greate announcement of this NEW arelis, but seems like yet another BIG soap bubble :(

Nothing new. All their new features seem to be *stolen* from some latest most popular (and anyway more powerful) link building tools (Linkassistant, Weblinkseo etc). And beta - means beta... Crashes all the time :(

Forgot to mention that they also cover the anchor text so you can manage your keyword distribution.
