    How long the backlink can be detected by the checker

    example :
    today i have make a comment in one dofollow blog and put my link there, when the backlink can be detected by the checker ?

    Sometimes i takes months for Google to count a link......depending on many factors
    just keep building links, and they'll grow and grow, and you won't have to worry about just one

    define the checker...you mean robot/spider... depends on the authority of the site and domain...some will spider and crawl same day some may take days/weeks/month... you may want to check the cache of the url to see if the domain has been frequented by googs

    depends who you want to check

    google takes a long time

    for instance i have 1 site that has over 5000 yahoo backlinks but only 31 google

    When you post a comment on a dofollow blog...and put your link in the comments, is that a backlink?

    Or should I not put my web address or blog address in the comments?
