I'm trying to promote a post on my blog so I'm building backlinks towards that post. I've read somewhere that too many backlinks pointing to a page might be considered spam so how many backlinks before Google considers a page spam? Whenever I put up a post on my blog, I try to put up backlinks for that post, is this good or bad? If I put up 30 posts per month and make around 3 links towards each post, is this too much? Thanks.
Without getting in details, I dont believe that 90 links per month is a real problem. You could do more.
It depends on how old your site is. 90 links a month should be fine no matter how old your site is... The older your site is, the more links you can safely add to your pages.
That is not to many links. I think it is a great idea to add links pointing toward each post. You are practicing "SEO 101" Great job. 500 links would not be to many as long as they were not paid links.
"If I put up 30 posts per month and make around 3 links towards each post, is this too much? " No, its fine. 3 Backlinks is no problem, I suggest you make a little more then 3 backlinks
I always do 3 links a day no matter what, you have to remember not all of those links are gonna show up right away.
"Whenever I put up a post on my blog, I try to put up backlinks for that post, is this good or bad? If I put up 30 posts per month and make around 3 links towards each post, is this too much?" This is not bad. I do make a post with two backlinks to my website and submit in different blogs. I do it regularly, no problem
Good Info I need to build more links to my individual posts. I guess it helps them get indexed faster. Right?
Just do not get to many links to fast. No one knows real number thousands of links might be a problem in a month. The more links you have the better over time.
