BackLink or LinkBack?

This has always bugged me.

Is it a Backlink or a Linkback?

Backlink is more grammatically correct, atleast in my opinion.

 

Lol, not many people using LinkBack though people use 'link back' phrase many times.

 

linkback..backlink..it really dosen't matter what you call them, your going to need a lot of them if you want to make money online.I do however like the term linkback...it seems to describe it better.

 

I have always referred to them as back links.

 

I think backlink sounds great and i voted to backlink only in the poll.

 

Of course it's backlink...

The next time you are in doubt, google the expression like this:
"backlink" = xxx.xxx results
"linkback" = xx.xxx results

Winner = the one with the most results.

 

they are both the same, but I guess, backlink has become more popular a term to what it relates as compared to linkback.

 

i think both are same in others views but in my views :

Back links: counted by google/yahoo
Link Back : which i show to other webmaster to get links for my site

Right, its seams pretty certain that it is a backlink as opposed to a linkback.

Backlink is the most appropriate word..

 

Backlink . I've never used "linkback".

 

Backlink, cause everybody used it

 

I use backlink as a noun and to link back to as a verb.

 

Backlink is correct, people from Australia use “link back” because they have backwards English.

 

I vote Backlink is better, people from Asian use linkback because their front door have to conneting back door.
