Hey everyone. I am a freelance translator and I've got a website which ranks between 4-8 for my target keyword. I've built some organic backlinks so far but I after a point it stopped naturally. Can you recommend anything? My website is en-tr dot net . thanks in advance
For your business, first is to list on my google business list then reach your popular influencers in the field to propose your interesting content.
Whatever you do, do not purchase banklink gigs online. It may get your site penalized. I went ahead and promoted your site via my Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
How about writing some language tutorials, then guest posting those articles on blogs of schools etc? Each post can get you one quality back link, and hopefully work too.
U can check your concurrents backlinks. I`m use https://ahrefs.com/ for finding concurents link. There are 7 days free trial period. Check your concurrents backlinks , find some sites and try to add your website to this site.
I agree with @JEET : Guest posting is a good option. Searching for relevant keywords for your website and google for sites which allows you guest posting with URL. Eg Google dork: <keywords> +"Email" +"Reply" +"Website" Try refining search with blog | Comment | URL | Submit | "Leave a reply" and so on. You can also try hosting some useful stuff that can be shared by others.
What keywords are you trying to rank for? have you research the competition? PS: I have checked your website.
You have to engage with your niche, so wherever your niche is, engage. Brand mentions are more important now than ever.
Before to start off-page activity on your website you need to complete your On-page work on it. On-page activity is the best thing to improve your visibility in search engine.
You can try with guest posts. Unfortunately many websites do not accept guest posts so easily or ask money for publishing a guest post.
1. Actively maintain accounts on social networks, publish useful content there. 2. Post on other sites and blogs. 3. Send press releases about significant events in the life of the company. 4. Blog about famous people in your industry. 5. Use meta tags. Well, something like this. Try if you haven’t tried anything from the above.
I second this. Focusing on writing high-quality, original content for backlinks is a time-tested strategy that even the pros cannot have enough of. So yes, strongly recommended. And if you need help in creating useful content, you can always look up freelance writing services to help you achieve this objective.
thank you all for the replies. All useful tips. I decided to destroy the website as I couldn't achieve anything in a year. Maybe I should've been more patient with it but it just felt like going nowhere. I'm gonna build a better one and use your advice on that one. Cheers
there's one thing I'd like to say, the older a domain, the more value it has. Even free blogger domains that are 4,5 years old may have more weightage than a new .com domain. So if you want better results, consider investing in an old domain relating to your niche that already receives some kind of monthly traffic. You will then get to see the results of your content writing efforts much quicker than you would if you were to start on a new domain. Just getting a new domain to rank may take 6 months and lots of efforts in guest posting and the likes...an old domain already ranks well so adding quality content gives much better and quicker results.
You have barely kept this website for a year and you already abandoned it. I don't think there can be any serious results (though they probably could be) in such a short term. Not much can be done without patience and persistence. Sometimes we're just lucky and we get used to that, but when things aren't going so well, more efforts are needed and it's normal. Giving up is an easiest thing we can do and it leads nowhere. We'll have to learn same lessons in the future anyway, so why waste our time, which is most precious resource we posses?
Try and get some media on free websites where you don't need approvals of any editor. Don't do commercial content, and use a native USA writer. Once you have that, email several PR agencies, or publishers and see if you can get better media where you don't have access.
The only recommendation that i give you is if your site is a store do not backlink from untrusted sources.
You need to create tutorials on youtube and do social media sharing of it. Also do some guest posting where you can display your tutorials. It will definitely works for SERP.
