Backlink from FREE Classified ad site

    There are bunch of classified ad sites. Lot of them free including mine one, webcosmo.com.

    If we place an ad we get a backlink from that page.
    How good it would be as per link development?

    i think you must check somethinks.

    * is the listing permanent or not? (because in my experience, google need 3-4 months for backlinks)

    * is there nofollow or not?

    The first thing you need to look for does it have nofollow within the page in which case a backlink is worthless.

    However, do you think you could get valuable traffic from the site.

    Link does not have any NOFOLLOW attribute. Currently your listing will stay active for at least 90 days.
    As per traffic I am having 18000+ visitors per month. This site is 6 months old. And growing at about 25% per month.

    Well for the amount of traffic it gets then yes a link to it is a good idea.
