Backlink from Chinese Sites - Good or Bad?

I am looking advise from experts here to tell me how good are backlinks from Chinese sites. I mean .cn sites either English language or Chinese.

I really appreciate your advise.

 

There is no harm if the site has genuine business and good quality content.

 

In the summer we have done a research on this subject and I can tell you that I saw lots of websites doing well in SERPs and having large amount of chinese backlinks ( both .cn domains or .com .net ... written in chinese )

How relevant they are to your website... only a chinese speaker can tell you.

 

As long they are quality sites they are useful.

 

Many foreign-language sites have sections of their site in English. Some even include site translation option to various languages.

So high PR backlinks from appropriate sites are very valuable.

 

all backlinks are good... some of the .cn sites can be very useful in your ranking.

incoming links are good from any good quality website.

 

why particular cn websites? there are lots of foreign sites and I think they are useful if they are not spam sites.

 

I believe that links from foreign tlds will help you more in foreign search results than in the US search results.

 

Language of the site does not matter much. If the site is good and relevant, everything is fine .

 

Yes if those are PR back links then good.

 

the more diverse backlinks you can get for your site the more exposure your site will get and google will also look into it in good way.

 

im not expert but backlink from chinese are also good *read it on online media

Google has no any problem that from where you can get backlinks and what the language of that site.

 

It does matter where your backlinks come from.

Everyone is right so far though. I know that may sound a bit off, but please allow me to explain.

Say your site is about business. Totally fine backlinking from anything business like. But, it doesn't help if you backlink from say parenting niche.

Yes, it all counts as a backlink, but its worth a lot less. Forget about Pr0, Pr1, etc. They only count if same niche.

Its really hard to explain when writing it here.

But, as for .com .cn .fr, etc - It doesn't matter, as long as its the same niche area.

That is why, they say, never connect to porn sites. Different niche altogether.

Also, when backlinking from foreign sites. It helps you better in their search result better than it does in your own countries results.

But it still counts.

I hope people understand this, its a little hard to explain in writing.

Backlink is always good if the site is quality site no matter what is the extension.
By the way, it will be better if the site is same languages and same niche as yours, it helps SERP better
