Backlink from Blogspot

Hello Everyone,

I have created a blog on blogger platform for my website, and linked my site to that blog. My blog and my site both are indexed in google, but i am not getting backlink from my blog to my site. Please tell me what's the problem.

Are you using Yahoo's tool to locate links?

Google does not disclose the number of links pointing to websites like Yahoo does. To get more accurate number of links pointing to a website I recommend using Yahoo's Site Explorer tool (like above), and NOT Google.

If you are using Yahoo, then perhaps the search engine spiders haven't discovered your new link yet. Depending on how quickly the spiders visit your site, it can take quite a bit of time before they discover it and then index it.

It could be that the results just haven't been updated yet. How much time has passed since you posted the link?

 

Thanks for replying, Yes, i am using yahoo site explorer to explore my backlinks. But when i use google query(link:yoursitename.com) it doesn't show links from my blog, But my blog has not been yet cached in yahoo. What do you think that when my site will get cached in yahoo, will it show the backlinks.

You need to give it more time, search engines don't just update or index overnight, especially Yahoo, and especially MSN

 

The link just hasnt been fully indexed yet thats why.

 

it takes time until google shows the links - sometimes it doent show at all but yet google knows the links existence.So dont worry.Althoug it doesnt show up you will get the link juice.
