Backlink (dofollow) from a specific site - How to check?

Is there a way to see if my site gets a backlink (dofollow) from a specific site?

Is it possible to check that in Google?

    THX :)

You can check at bing.com (surprised?)- just type: linkfromdomain:example.com

It doesn't show everything but it's still good.

The way which i do is i have this Firefox addon "SearchStatus" installed on my firefox and it lets me know PR/alexa rank of inner pages of websites and once you are in the page to check for dofollow right click on the page and left click on "NoDofollow" if the link is in blue color its dofollow and if the link is in red color its nofollow.
I bet this is the easiest way to find dofollow links...

Just use link command. link:yourdomain.com but it does not show you all backlinks to your site. You can check on backlinkwatch.com and its really good tool for checking backlinks.

Yahoo Site explorer is still the best way to check your backlinks... It only gives 1000 and I have no idea how it decides which 1000 make the list but it is useful information nonetheless

There is also Majestic SEO - but you have to pay for this data... Still you can pay less to have their reports for 24 hours and download all info as excell spreadsheets so you can keep it forever!

    Hope this helps!

    3 Ways:

    1) You can look at the source code of the page
    2) You can use the FF plugin as described above
    3) You can use http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ to see all the nofollow links to your site.

one more way that I was just thinking about, is using "A1 sitemap" if it's small site you can easily scan site and A1 will give you the external links and let you know from what pages

Use Yahoo to find link, and then use some plugin to check whether link is do-follow or not. Lengthy process, but works!

Use backlink watch tool to find out the anchor text, dofollow or nofollow. If you want to know the no of backlink go to yahoo siteexplorer(except from the domain). if you just want to know the link you are going to get is dofollow or nofollow use SEOquake or nodofollow firefox addon. I hope everything is clear, if not then i will surely write on my blog.
