Hi guys. I submit some of press releases and articles to some PR and news site with link to my site. They are approved a couple weeks ago and I can see my articles on the sites. But Why I can't see the back link using yahoo site explorer and google webmaster tools? Did I do something wrong? Or it need time for yahoo and google to count the backlink?
Only after publishing your articles, back links can't be counted by Search engines. Only when Google crawlers crawl to those links(articles), then they are considered as back links. And in some cases Google doesn't consider them even after crawling. Google consider only quality back links. Less quality links are rejected by Google
Google or yahoo has to crawl and Index through those links then only you can see those backlinks in site explorer or google. So IMO you bookmark those articles link so that google will index it and you can view them in backlink.
When the pages containing your article and press release will be cached by Google, only then they will be considered as back links. One another thing that Google doesn't consider all the back links. It only consider quality back links.
I am confused with what you guys mean with quality back link. Relevancy? sometimes i see the backlink from the site has no relevancy with my site. high PR? sometimes i see backlink from unranked pages and has no relevancy either. Anybody can tell me what are social news or bookmarkers that if we put backlink there google will surely count? ezine? articledashboard? easyarticles? bignews.biz? I want to know and focus with that sites. Anybody has experience writing in ezine and the backlink is not counted by google? I am non native English, writing articles in English needs hard effort so i need a kind of certainty with this. tq guys for your previous responses.
