If u mean checking backlinks,I saw some sites used this tool powered by iwebtool.com,I think this is the easy way
If u want to create own.,It depending on the results of backlinks in search engines "yahoo are giving the best results for that"

 

i think the easiest way for you to create backlinks is to submit your website to the hundreds of free directories that are out there , it takes time but it works
