BackLink Checker

Say hello to the BackLink Checker. The BackLink Checker will check between 25 and 150 of your BackLinks, count them by PageRank and estimate the total count of each.

Unfortunately this requires the Google API so you will need to sign up for the free key before using this new tool. You can specify to save remember this key each time you come to the site so you won't have to type it each time.

Also note this is just a beta of this tools and future revisions will make it quicker and fix any bugs that might pop up.

If it worked it would be great Bling.

I checked Google and Yahoo and it showed no backlinks, can you work the bugs out?

The Adsense ads looked good and so did the link to your SEO forum.

It seems to timeout somewhere between 150 and 200 results. I am all for increasing the limits but will need to trace the problem first. It basically takes one query per 10 results.

Compar, there are so many tools on the market now you could gag a magot with them all, some of them seem to be a real waste of time.

But they do get attention for some folks now don't they

Have you "gagged many magots" lately Anthony? :)

They do seem to draw a lot of traffic though. I'm actually considering putting up one. Probably a directory of the best with a couple of my own added.

Do you want to be my advertising manager Anthony? They will be free like most of the rest, so let me see, 50% of the profit for you, hmmmm not bad. And the real benefit is that you won't have to pay tax on the earnings. :p

No Bob, everyone likes the stuff I write :D

If anyone could put up a digest of the best SEO tools it would be Y O U!

I think we could use a filter like COMPAR, the page would be very popular with the trade.

But you better include all of Shawn's tools or you won't last long in the industry.

There are ways to find you Compar

    Works good for me.

Not a bad tool. Nicely camouflaged AdSense ads too.

I used the same API that I use on Shawns site. If I have used up my 1,000 transactions for the day would it just abort without any message?

BTW when you say the first 25, what are they the first of?

I didn't think they were very camouflaged. They are right in your face and you have to scroll by them to get to the actual tools. I found that intrusive and a little off putting.

Perhaps. I haven't gone over yet the 1,000 limit to test it and I haven't explicitly coded any error handler for that situation.

I will let you use mine API key to test this out if you would like.

He does this and much more and it takes much longer. I had the idea seperately from looking at his tool however it doesn't matter either way.

Rustybrick's tool is quite interesting regardless. Here' the link to it.
