Very nice tool. I think there's something off, though. Take this for example:

    http://ekstreme.com/backlink-analyzer/backlinks.php?domain=www.blazemp.com

I don't think there are so many more backlinks to non-www version... In fact, there should be considerably less, I believe.

Hmm, you're right, but it seems to be only with your site and a handful of other cases. For a minute I thought the API was being silly, but even if you do the search manually on Yahoo!, you get the same results back. Interesting.

But in most cases, the www.- vs non-www results are correct.

I'll dig into this more. Thanks for the heads up!

I tested it and it executes this:
    linkdomain:www.site.com -site:site.com in Yahoo.
Does it do it in Google?

Google doesn't have a linkdomain: operator, and the link: operator is

    1. Broken, in the sense it doesn't give you the full list of in-links that Google knows of
    2. Is per page only, so a link:http://ekstreme.com/ search will not return all backlinks to ekstreme.com, but only to the site's root.

It's great people are using it and liking it! It's the point of writing such tools :)

LTEli: The point is not that it uses Yahoo, but the point is that Yahoo gives the most data, and allows webmasters to build the most accurate picture of backlinks. I'd love to hear what improvements can be added to the tool.

the tool will only have error when a website start to lag out of bandwidth. If you try open a website using your own pc. I think it might give that error. :)

At the end, and conclusion is, the tool no problem, the website problem.

    Pretty slick tool - thanks!

You know, that's the 3rd tool I've come across from your site just this week. The Socializer is pretty cool, too.

Thanks LazySEO! The Socializer is by far the most popular service I have on my site.

Why don't you drop by my SEO and webmaster tools page? It lists everything I have on my site.
