Backing up databases via cron job

Hello,

I am just wondering if there is a way to backup all my databases in shared hosting. I don't want to use the hosting backup because I have multiple shared accounts and each backup features is different.

All it needs to do is save the database to the hard drive where I will use ftp program to download all the files into my computer.
