background problem

    On my pc the background shows up just fine, but i was just informed that on the local university pc's in Windows IE 7 and in FF 3.0.1 the background shows up misaligned to the left of the content.

    tell me if you guys have problems and what OS+browser you are using.

    so it shows up with a margin of black on each side of the white content area? and then radiates outwards?
