    Hello. I have this image - http://g.imagehost.org/0102/starrating.gif
The problem is that the background is white and I needed to be black. Can anyone please tell me how I can make it black without messing up the image?

Please help and thank you. :)

you could go around the image with a pen tool (or similar) then turn the background black, but if you do the drop shadow wouldn't look right. Or you could go around the actual star turn the background black and then do a drop shadow for the star. :)

I'm not sure, but i think better way to make them from the begin, than to retouche these ones to make black background + your current stars have white outer glow with some kind of small shadow, not sure it will look the same on black background.
anyway i see it somehow like this

GIF can have transparent bg, if that helps. Than it will always match the color of the background design. Hope that helps.

They have outer glow, really not sure how transparence can work on white and black background the same way.
