    No, I checked on this once and Google said you can only change the Hex color code.

    some work arounds is using a gradient background...and if your good with photoshop you can make the solid part of the gradient lined up with the background color hex value. this isnt tricking or breaking Tos,..just something you can do to get a little more creative with bg
