I am posting this for someone else. They are trying to make a picture page in dream weaver and have a page with maybe 30 thumbnails on it and then linking to the full size image. They want to know if there is a way to designate a background color of the page the full size image is on. They are not making a page for each full size image, just link directly to the image. I could not think of a way but thought I would ask here. Thanks in advance. Oh and if you are thinking that something like Joomla would be easier, I agree and already told them about it.
I didn't understand your question very clear. So you want to create a background of the full size image? If so, there is no other way, but to create a different pages for every image and link not to the image, but to this page
Yeah if you clarify your question it would be good because It's hard to understand what your asking. So when you click on thumbnail they want that image to "become" the background of a page?
sorry. Let me try again. I am pretty sure this can not be done, but here goes. Say he has a thumbnail that is 100x100. When you click on the thumbnail it opens the image that is 500x800 (or whatever) and has a white background. He wants there to be a different colored background. But as far as I know he would have to then create a page for each full size image to change the background color on it.
So, he wants to change the background color of the browser window when it shows an image. I don't think there is any easy way to do that. Even it there was, it could probably be disabled. Use a Flash photo gallery script instead. It looks more professional.
