Background Color for Adsense

Hello to all... I have a ton of websites for adsense that have a gray background and blue ads. Currently, my CTR is 21.9%. Do you think turning the background blue would make a big difference? Not to sound lazy, but I have so many sites that it will be quite a chore to change them all. Just wondering if anybody else has done this and seen a great result.

There is no problem in trying.:)
But its better to have the background color match the color of your site's page.

It should match the color of the text on your site (of course it is not required, but then the CTR is the highest I think).

If you have a ctr of 20+ I think you should spare yourself the hassle of updating all your code for a results that you're not sure about. 20% CTR is already very good, invest your time in developing your web properties, increasing your traffic, etc. At 20% CTR you're already one of the few lucky ones who can enjoy a good CTR.

Your CTR is is something to be proud of. I mean looking at that, I would be very careful in changing anything at all. But, you can try changing the background color and other customisations in some of your sites and observe the changes. Gradually, depending on the traffic, the CTR and the revenues, you may think of changing things for good.

Try it - if it doesn't work out well you can always change back. Adsense is all about experimentation, and then sticking with what works.
