Just wondering, I have several Internet marketing newsletters, and once people sign up, they are presented with a "one-time-offer". I must admit that this has not been a successful strategy, I think that the one-time-offer is not good enough. Do you have a strategy for earning money by using backend sales and "one-time-offers" for people signing up for your newsletters? - jens -
Build a relationship with your list by sending good/useful information. End every email with at least one link to your website (or else they will unsubscribe sooner because this is the only link) Now and then promote a good quality product/ seminar / affiliate product.
Thanks. I almost never promote any products, other than in my signature, it works, but not great. I have been thinking about doing more of one-time-offers, especially when people sign up to my newsletters. I am not really a sly marketer, I am writing about sly marketing - jens -
1. When you have build arelationship with your list you can give away a products. 2. Try to capture the full address info including phone fax. 3. Send the free product and 4. Use the free cd/dvd/book to provide good information and set up the sale for the next product. Try to sell a quality product/seminar/affiliate product. You can also add catalog(s)/pens/stickers/business cards.
Don't just relentlessly sell, give some good stuff away too. It softens up the target for the sales pitch.
