Hey All! Well, i'm back MUCH later then I thought I would be. To make a very long story short, Elizabeth Ann was born at 3:49am May 1st, at 11 pounds 10oz, 21 inches long. I had to have a C-section and was in the hospital for awhile. We're home now, getting settled in, and things are going great
11 lbs. 10oz. Geeze, I don't think anyone was even close! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=15224
wow, i can't believe there was a thread about that while i was gone I was in labor for almost 2 days before they decided to go in C-section, she just wasn't gonna go any other way I saw a lot for 21 inches though! I'll have to go through and see who was the closest, right now though, the cute little girl needs to be feed. i'm one happy momma
CONGRATULATIONS WENDY!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you're back, we all missed you chick!!!!!!! I'm so happy everything went well for you. xxxxx *Mella leaves room with big grin on her face*
11lbs? I have a bowling ball that size. Good Grief! See what eatin chocolate does to a kid? Hope they gave ya morphine, and I'm glad everything went well.
omg a bowling ball *winces at the thought* Least she had a C section. Imagine pushing a bowling ball out of your hoo-ha.. ouch!!
When I was pregnant; I made sure to concentrate on a c section. There was no way I was having a baby *any other way!* I got lucky. No labor, csection and morphine. I was very happy. The doc thought I was having a 10 pounder but he wasn't that big. He was still the biggest kid in the nursery.
Goodness, I'm terribly sorry but I honestly thought the entire time I've been here that you were male for some odd reason. I nearly spat my cuppa tea out when you said 'when I was pregnant......'
Congrats!! - But 11 lbs!! wow our last 2 were both 9 2 and that is big enough and if you don't believe me ask the one who pushed. (my hands still hurt from being sqeezed with the 3rd one!)
Welcome to the C-section club! Yikes, your little girl was more than twice the weight of my son at birth (5 lb 9 oz). Of course, he was premature. No wonder you couldn't push her out.
Congratulations Wendy! Sleepless nights, baby spit up everywhere, eye-wateringly smelly nappies and you will still gaze at that little person and wonder how anything so perfect could have come into the world.
Congratz Wendy 11 pounds - That is big. My wife had a c-section after 20 days overtime and the boy was 5.2 kilos (google the translation to your standards). That's when she swore never again to "wait and see" if the next baby would turn and come out on its own. By the way, don't we have one or two members here at dp who runs a forum for the entire "we-just-became-parents" niche This seems like an excellent opportunity to highjack both thread and fellow members
