    If you are hosting your own blog, the easy way is backing up your database.

    If you are hosted on a website with cPanel, go into such area and select backups to do so, and then with your sql file (the database) you can dump the content into your new blog.

    In Wordpress, there's a special plug-in to do that.
    Go to Manage->Backup
    :)

    In WP 2.1 there is built-in export option available under Manage tab from where you can export your xml file that can be imported any time but best way is to havecomplete backup of your db and files as well.

    If you don't want to try any of the methods above - Your RSS feed can be saved in xml format - backup ready! ;)
    Remember this is the easiest way but necessarily not the best one. ;)
