Anyone know if it's allowable to place 2 ad blocks back-to-back (no content in between them? Thanks in advance for your help - I'm thinking of trying something out and using the channels to see what it does for CTR on a site of mine, but I'd rather not violate the TOS for the program.

Yeah people do it all the time, but I recommend you spread them apart. I always seems to get better CTR that way.

ya, its fine. some say they will perform worse, but it depends on far too many things for someone to say for sure whether it will perform better or worse. its all about testing...

Some of my pages have them stacked 2 and 3 blocks tall.

A lot have one high, and two low. A few pages spread out throught the page.

But many of my pages are advice related. And people will either read the page, or not read the page. So I placed them with that in mind.

I typically choose "text only" with one of the 3 being an image block.

Rarely will I not use my 3 ad block per page quota. My earnings doubled by adding all the alloted ads.
