google sees only 35 incoming links to my site...

    Incoming Google Links: 35
    Incoming Yahoo Links: 1000
    Incoming MSN Links: 20000
    Incoming Alexa Links: 40000

But my page rank is Zero ,When does my page rank is improve?

does anyone know why and what to do?

Build more quality links, exchange with similar sites, submit to directories...

The pagerank update is supposed to be soon (according to www.seocompany.ca), so I guess your PR may increase soon.

    good luck :)

google is known to NOT list all backlinks for your site, they show just a random handful.

I find the whole page rank issue quite confusing. I recently launched a brand new site with only one backlink from one of my other sites and it immediately showed a pr of 2. How could that happen?

Good timing. You must have launched it right before an update. How recently was this?

Did you buy the domain or get it transferred to you? I would be clueless if you registered the domain and got a PR if it wasnt previously owned.

That's impossible, the last PR update was few months ago. In july, if I'm right. So your site had a PR before.

Right, one thing I forgot was that I registered the domain name a while back and it was just pointing to a site on my server space. I never actively used the domain name, but I guess it inherited the other site's PR ?????

That could be it but the domain pointing to that site has to of been there awhile. That PR basically means nothing though.

    If you didnt know :

You can make a site and just redirect it to any high PR site for awhile then you can gain PR from your site. People have been doing this and ending up with a PR7,8,9 site and throwing content on there and trying to sell links on it or the site itself. This is bad mmmmkay.

So your site probably gained PR since it was redirected to another site. No biggie at all its just a number. Wont hurt or help you in anyway.

Ok, I wasn't particularly worried about it - just a bit confused as to how it happened. Anyway, thanks for all of the info!
