I have a question about Page back links and whole site back links If the page has only 20 or so back links but the whole site has 35,000 what does that tell you about seoing for the term
Not sure what you mean, do you mean that is one of the pages ranking in search results that you are competing against? or your own site?
As I know Site back link means you have back link for the whole site and page back link means you have back link for a particular page.. If I'm wrong please feel free correct me any expert!
I understand what you want to tell. Backlink for whole site like abc.com has 35,000 Backlink for page link abc.com/xyz has 20 backlink. It means you have created all backlink targeting your home page but inner page or deep page is not targeted. so you home page will have much better PR thah you deeper page, OK! Now about SERP, home page will rank good for keywords of your target but inner pages will not show. If you want more keyword to target optimiza inner page and start buildinh links for inner page. Backlink will increase simultaneously
