Hii! I have been submitting my blog on the said popular blog directories most of them free as i can't afford the paid ones for the time being. As much as i am submitting them to related categories, my back links are not showing up when i check for links in yahoo. The only llink that pops up is the my Sqidoo lens about my blog. Someone pls tell me is it because yahho doesn't show all the links or is it because i'm not doing something right.
You must to wait few days to see your backlink if it have been put in the homepage. In your case, blog directories backlink may be take few weeks to be indexed by Yahoo bots.
Ok then why was My squidoo lens link approved within the day. Is there any more like Sqidoo. Digg didn't show up in the till now.Its been a week. Thanx in advance
Have you installed an XML sitemap in your blog? In not do it and then submit the link to google webmaster tools and within a couple of days your blog WILL be indexed on Google. Alternatives to squidoo are hubpages, livejournal and blogger.
Isn't Xml Sitemap a way to get reciprocal link? Ireally don't know about it. Will try the alternatives. Thank u geester
I've found it takes forever for any backlinks to be found in yahoo. I check my backlinks in Majestic Seo because they usually show up the next day or so after I build them. You can only check the number of links and the top 5 results without a paid subscription. I use it to check if my backlinks are increasing and its's definitely the fastest tool I know of that picks up on backlinks.
