Back links in a months

Hi friends,

I am just creating backlinks for a website. So i would like to know rather is there any minimum or maximum limitation of links in a month. I also heard that google is not going to update pr upto 2014. is it true. than what is the benefit of creating backlink if google not responding on that.

There is no limit to the number of backlinks you create as long as it is(or at least) natural in Google's eye.

Yes, PR will not be updated in toolbars since the "pipeline" which google uses to update the toolbar PR is broken. Matt cutts also informed that they are in no mood to fix it till the end of 2013.
But it doesnt mean PR is not being updated. It is being updated internally and is being used in SERP as usual. Its just that tPR is not reflecting in the toolbars.

Backlinks do not play a role only in PR but for many other SEO factors. and Bing/Yahoo still be using backlinks to evaluate your site for their search engines.

There is no set rule for how many backlinks you can/should get per month! There are several factors e.g. one backlink can be worth 100 backlinks, your current backlink portfolio, etc...

You're asking the wrong questions here.

 

Of course Google is updating PageRank for websites all the time, it's just not updating the database SEOs have been using this whole time.
Before, I'd rely on the PR provided back link software, but since it hasn't been updated in a really long time, I look at other metrics.
After all PR is just one of over 200 signals considered, along with the relevance of the link, the anchor text, etc. etc.

No, there is no thing called unlimited backlinks, Google will penalise new sites with that number of links very fast, you will risk your site with that method, just go with moderation, 20 to 100 per month is very logical, Google calculating all your backlinks and compare that number to a period of time, if he finds it impossible, like getting 3000 backlinks in one day, it will get your site out of the game. So a few good links are better than that"unlimited".

hi, Quality is more important than quantity of links.
you can built any no of links to your niche but your focus should be at high page rank domains.
let suppose if you built 50 links with pr-0 site and just 5 with pr-6 , these 5 links will dominate 50 from pr-0 site.
