Yea, I noticed that they will appear in the search in short period of time too. I think this strategy is even more powerful than article marketing if you post the right question..
Is it true that you get a permanent link, or at least one of longer duration if you have the best answer, or does it matter? I have used Yahoo answers and have seen some improvement in traffic for a very short time. I am thinking a "best answer", and those of you that don't know what that is - the person who answers the question best in the opinion of the person who asks the question is "picked" the winner and is given a position just below the question. Also I have tried posting a question from one ip address and answering that question and giving it the "best answer". I don't do it anymore for a couple of reasons including the fact that it is spamming in my opinion and just takes too much time for the value.
I think it is all about your reputation.. the higher level that you have, and you should spend the time to research the answer that you provide too. And it will help if you have more best answers. They will trust your suggestion, if it make sense.
Yes Good answers can make your very good reputation in Yahoo Answers Profile. and you will get very good Traffic from yahoo answers but they are using Nofollow attribute so it will not pass PR juise and SERP Benifits. Thanks Eric
