    I just started a new website http://www.highprofitpoint.com

For the promotion of the website, i have created some back links on some other websites ( with PR0 & PR 1+).
I tried to check the back links to my website by using Google webmaster tools. But it display 0 links to my website. Can any one please tell me how to find the back links to my website.

Google will find your backlinks eventually. The reason you are not seeing them now is because the links are new and the pages have not yet been properly crawled and indexed. Another fee tool you can use to check backlinks is Yahoo Site Explorer (before Yahoo drops it, which may happen soon).

Dont get caught up whether your links have been found or not. They wont always show everything.

thx for the heads up on site explorer. too bad they're letting it go (and have been limiting it to 1st 1,000 results lately).

sorry to take this a little off-topice, but are there other good backlink research options - even paid services? especially ones that can export results to CSV/XLS?

Yes, get scrapebox, it's worth it...big time. As long as you don't go about it like a moron and spam the universe. But, yes, webmaster is kind of slow at displaying links.

Thanks to all who replied to this thread. Site explorer is good to find links. But it is vary bad that it is closing soon.

Use seoquake it is a free firefiox plugin that will help you find links.

Scrapebox is great for finding backlinks too.
