back links checker script

I'm not sure if this is a right section for this topic. We are having a problem with our link exchange partners. Recently I was checking our backlinks that supposed to be on PR3 and PR4 pages and can't find them, looks like they have been removed. I'd like to know if there is a such a program or script to keep checking on those links.

You can write a script to open the link page and search for your url.

That's why I only do link exchanges with serious link partners, but checking your backlink from time to time can not be wrong!
