Back Links are not showing? Help needed.

Hi,

I have added my website in several places but when I check in google it shows only a few backlinks. Could anyone please tell me why this happens? Any tips aquire back links please?

Google will show only little. But u check it on google webmaster tool will show u all with date, or use any third party link analyzer will show all

It shows you correct method.

 

Yahoo's site explorer will do the trick for you as well. Google is slow to update when it comes to backlinks.

 

how many links does google webmaster tools show?
it's a known fact that the link: command doesn't work anymore, and that google will never show all your backlinks

 

site explorer is pretty accurate, I also use http://www.checkpagerank.net/
so a combination of the two gives a good guestimate on the # of backlinks.

Google won't ever give you a straight answer on backlinks

 

Even in Webmaster tools you won't be able to get a list of all the backlinks. yahoo usually shows all the links.

 

It has been my experience that Yahoo rarely shows more than half of my backlinks. IBP is alright, so is Webmaster Tools.

How exactly are you checking Google?

Yeah, I don't think there is a full proof way to view all your back links.
