Hello, I don't know about your ideas but I think back links are more important than content in SEO. I mean, I create a new page or blog page, it will not be indexed easily. when I submit these new pages to social bookmarking sites, they are indexed very fast. So, content is for readers to come back to your site and back links are to get visitors to come to your site the first time. For me, back links are more important than content. Your idea is appreciated. Thanks.
But if you have no content, what use is a backlink? I would say that content is the most important because without it you have nothing to link to. The links are how you get people to your content - obviously your content isn't going to do it on its own, but even with pages that have just been spidered I have seen some respectable returns, whereas obviously a link pointing to no content won't really help (unless it's an affiliate link )
content is king dude. Valuable content prove to have big readers. But you need the content to be indexed in the search engine too. So backlinks come to play a major role.
You have all the point and I agree to all of you but if you want to make sure what is important then you make step by step... - get a domain. - find a good hosting and get one. - build a website or blogs. - organized your content according to the prospect you want to be shown on your site. "Note: fresher content are love by search engine so make it original" - put some products or anything that you want to post in. - then start making links and let others know that you have a site which they can benefit form it. - keep doing it everyday and keep reaping the reward for your efforts...
I would agree with all , without content all the backlinks wouldn't help much , having a right balance between the 2 is more beneficial.
Absolutely right... What if your pages do not have enough content??? I mean are you happy only to get indexed by SEs and not willing to get repeated visits? I highly doubt that. Content is the vital key to open the doors of website visits and marketing. Without proper and targeted content, what is the reason for a website to exist? I mentioned in another thread here at DP that one of my site doesn't had any backlink and guess what-- not only it got indexed by Google but Google gave me top 20 ranking only because of my On-Page SEO (titles and content). The domain and site was newly registered and made. So for me, content rules and will rule forever....
SEO is like a recipe with many ingredients. If you put too much or too little of one ingredient, then your food is going to suck. Everything is important in order for the final result to be the just right.
Yes traffic is good, but if you don't have the content, they won't come back (as you said). All the traffic in the world is useless when your content is shoddy.
