back link tool

there was a good tool that retrieved back links to a site. I forgot the url, any help? it has seo in it...

 

Do you essentially want the one which shows all the links as per the SE's???
Then http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker might help. There are tons of such tools around though... This is just one of the lot...

my blog has some backlinks when i use the checker tool thingy but when i do link:site on google, there is no result

 

google wont put all links in the search. use msn

i use 'Link Popularity Check' which is a freeware tool from the makers of Arelis and IBP.

It's pretty good and it is updated regularly

interesting site however when i type in a random website (i used codedfx.com) the results show about 40 results from the same link? is this unusual? (links show a different topic tho, i.e.
bbs.retrogade.com/topic.php?id=3874 and
bbs.retrogade.com/topic.php?id=3841

 

Use WebCEO. Ofcourse i am using demo version with no time limits. It has seo. and list the backlinked site to you and your competitors from all search engines. It won't help much in promoting site but very good for reporting purpose.
