    Hi all,

I am presently doing 3 way link exchange for my 2 health sites and the links that I am getting are indexed in Google. My concern is the links which I am getting are appearing as back links of one of my sites but not the other as both are health sites (with different content).

Can anyone here let me know what actually is the problem.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Don't know why this is happening. They should show up for both. what are you using to check that the backlinks are showing? If you are using the link: function in google then don't worry as this only provides a snap shot of some of the links you have. The google webmaster tool function is much better and you can use it to check the links coming back to your site. All the best

Yeah. Check out webmaster tools for more accurate data. Even if you don't use webmaster tools and your backlinks aren't showing up when using the link: function I wouldn't be concerned. Most backlinks don't get listed under the link function unless you have thousands and thousands of backlinks

You probably need to give your sites more time. Maybe the search engine spiders have not found them yet.

It probably just need time, Google is well known not to show links accurately.

you can go to yahoo to check the links, be patient, the spider needs more time to find them

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I am using the link: function to check back links. Is it not completely correct ? I am not aware about the webmaster tool to check back links. Can anyone please let me know how can I check the back links using webmaster tools.

    Thanks.
