    Thanks Frankcow,

Link building was a major part of my SEO daily work load for the site. I have found that google now prefers 1 way links from content related websites and also google loves it if these sites have got a good PR!

This might seem like a plug but i am involved with the SEO company in my sig. They work 8 hours a day 6 days a week totally dedicated to my site. You need to put some serious hours in now to get up the PR ladder. Hoping to get a PR6 the next update:D

I am finally seeing some activity for two of my sites. One went from a PR1 - PR2. My other one went from a PR0 - PR4. But I am a little disappointed on my PR3 site. I was hoping it would atleast jump to a 4. Hmmmmmmm but oh well. Atleast there was some movement in some of my sites and I have to be happy with that.

PR Won't do anything by itself, were the links relevant to the subject you're trying to optimise for, and have you got your onpage stuff sorted? It's not a miracle worker.

Yay! Platinax is now PR7: http://www.platinax.co.uk

Unfortunately, these days, it's a somewhat meangingless figure, so there'll be no party.

Has anyone had their PR update *after* the first updates were reported? (I.e. you checked when the update started, and didn't see movement, now you see new PR's coming through)

Yes. I checked soon after the update was posted on this forum and found no change in my 50 sites.

I then checked a few days later and half of the sites had higher PR.

Yesterday I check again and most sites had reverted to pre updat PRs.

    Because the updates not done.

    For Rod

Your sig links may yields a clue

Free legal forms -Not related to the other three below in most instances

Laser Eye Surgery - Related to Latest Health

Free Link Directory - You like playing with fire...do you link to the other sites with this??

Latest Health Advice - Related to Laser Eye

Not sure what your linking stucture is like... but perhaps you want to keep things aligned in nice tight niches...

    Peace

    Good for you!

I remember a while back that I got really excited when one of my sites became PR5.

On the last update, 15 of my sites became PR5 (from various lower PRs). One of my sites, www.articleworld.net, achieved PR6 without my doing any SEO for it, which was a really pleasant surprise.
