I'm in a similar situation. PR 6 to PR 5. Odd, some data centers appear to be going back to PR 6 and others down to PR5. I'm just waiting until it all shakes out, but holding out hope my PR6 sticks.
for me one day new backlinks are up next day disappeared again using DP tools PR update - for my site it seems that NEW pages get new PR while old pages have no update a totally new section of my site - the photo gallery of the philippine islands - created about 3 months ago - went from 0 to 5 while my blog still is at 4 eventhough it most likely may have twice as many natural quality backlinks than the new photo gallery all old pages still have same PR since MANY months - may be all year long or so hence may be old pages update later ... or not at all and only nedw ones get updated now ?? I kind of fail to understand the precise logic behind this messy update backlinks since about 3 weeks come and go new to old data every few days
If it helps anyone (hans?) here are three d/c's with different backlinks: http://72.14.203.133/ http://66.102.11.100/ http://216.239.51.104/
that's correct and the 3 different BL data switch back and forth every day or few days since weeks now - for me - using DP tools
You guys should read the recent post at www.mattcutts.com/blog/ that explains the datacenter Disparities.
Matt Cutts also has done a good post on What's an update. http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/whats-an-update/ I made the following note on my page back on Sept 04/2005: http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html
This is not related to my subject but is the only way I can contact anyone. I have been on this site asking questions and for a few months now and benefited from it a lot. Today when I went to post a new tread the title and box area were my content goes was dark and I could not writ in it. What has happened and how can it be fixed This is the only way I have of communicating.
I see my new PR on the toolbar now, but DP is still PR7, anyone see it as PR8 on the toolbar yet? EDIT: I now see DP as a PR8, congrats.
Just above the space for a title of your new thread, there is a statement of the purpose of the category and a checkbox - asking you to agree that the category is the best place for it. Once you check it off, you can then create your new title and thread. Somebody is getting tired of having to move off-topic threads... make certain you are posting it in the correct category.
I am lost here. http://pr.blogflux.com http://www.checkpagerank.net/index.php?name=www.hoprofit.com http://www.iwebtool.com/hoprofit.com http://www.iwebtool.com/www.hoprofit.com Which one should i refer to? Your expertise is needed. Thanks in advance.
http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=hoprofit.com Your site should be a PR4, but the new PR has not spread across all the DCs. I see it as a PR4 on my toolbar.
Roman, thank you. Your input is greatly appreciated. I learn something new today. From my personal point of view, raketforskning.com should rank number 1 in google. The real time stat is good.
I agree that the criteria is definately becoming toupher to get a specific pagerank. I have tried really hard on a couple of sites for a pagerank gain, especially http://www.aaronsfreebies.com acquiring perhaps 500 backlinks scattered across directories, articles and blogs, yet it is still a pr4 despite many hours of work. But I suppose they have to 'raise the bar' no pun intended, sometimes as more people get good at building link popularity.
With your linkback status from myspace (and out of it but relating) I do not wonder at all. I must go for the "get friends" affectable sites in the future. Heavily.
