Looks like I may end up with a PR8. To bad its useless except for bragging rights or hyping up text link rentals on a page. To funny! I gave up on trying to get high PR quite awhile ago, stopped channeling my site PR to my home page (dropped from a PR7 to a PR6 when I did that), and I dropped my high PR link rentals. On the other hand my directories got hit and lots of categories dropped out of the Google index and a bunch of the catgories are going to be PR0'ed soon. http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.seocompany.ca
Just wait. Most of my blogs are going to PR3 from PR0 in this update. Have you looked at all dc's? Col
Thanks, anOn, for the thread. I enjoyed learning about the Live PageRank tool but then I saw this notice: Will this tool become defunct?
Mod +1. Anyone know? Luckily it's showing that many of my sites that show up as PR0 via blogflux, are showing PR5, PR6, etc. via the live checker. but can it be trusted?
What does it mean when it says Cached: Yes or Cached: No in the http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ tool?
when this updation will complete , some datacenters show me PR6 for my site , while other PR5 . I m confused.
All of our sites and others are showing that cluster effect right now. Seems those few DCs are collaborating and then it will go across the board soon, as mentioned earlier in this thread? It's anyones guess here.
www.flawlesscomputers.com I have been waiting forever for this update and I get a PR 1 ????!!!!!! I have links on the following sites (all but one relevant) and they've been there for the past 4 months: nerdhelp.com - PR 4 triviasecurity.net - PR 5 zolera.com - PR 6 ultraproducts.com - PR 5 THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! Anyone have any ideas as to why it climbed from 0 to 1 ????
according to Iwebtools's All-In-One Lookup and http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.isins.com , I went from a pr0 to pr5. Why am I not seeing the PR change in my Google Toolbar?
you guys are getting higher PRs. However my SELaplana is still on its PR4 since May 2006. Too bad for my site.
That tool originally was set up to get the actual, current PR for a page - not the visible PR we see in the toolbar or other check tools like http://oy-oy.eu/google/pr/. You could check to see at any time if your site was going up or down - i.e., as soon as a link was added and indexed. PR is constantly calculated, but not released for viewing immediately. Google changed something, and there is no way known to capture that value now. There should be no problem with getting the released PR value through http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ or other similar tools. What we are calling a PR update is the release of those values.
