Also, most of your Link and site valuations are still deeply carried on on the basis of its PR. Whether it be Link sales/exchanges or Site sales, PR is alwayz considered. It may not affect actual SERPs, but it still does count. Anywayz, my friends site jumped from PR 0 to PR 6... boy!! was that some leap.
I am glad finally i can see increasement of my inbound links count! I hope my PR will go up also! Some of the datacenters show me that my PR has been droped! from 4 to 3
I see a PR on a new site launched in August, but not for the one launched in September. I also see certain older domains going up, but only on 3 data centers.
People need to remember that PR updates normally take about a week to complete so fretting about not seeing any updates is a little premature at this point in time.
I have a great idea: for every new thread regarding this pr and linking update that is made, all DPer's can chuck me a dollar: paypal =
Interestingly the site I have promoted the most seems to have dropped from a PR2 to PR1 (it was predicted PR5 to show you how accurate the prediction tool was)....a few of my other sites are showing good improvements though
my contest site was launched july 14th - showing to be pr5 in 3 data centers my older sites seem stable on the main pages but internal pages are jumping to pr4 - one weird result, I attached a blog to my webmaster site but never got around to entering anything in it and it's showing pr5! lol some sites I launched in August are showing no changes.. yet. typically, the pr updates start with a few data centers and roll out over a week or so - some data centers may show different results but at the end they sync.
this is going to be one huge I see it too thread well.. let me join. I see some updates too although sites started at the same time and promoted the same way did not get the same PR
