Back Link & PageRank Update (Sept 28)

I suppose no change is better than dropping. Still not seeing any movement on any of my sites.

well if you sell links and stuff, pr is what people are looking for

I'm also going to launch a few directories that seems to be a good business model, was going to get my programmers to do a better script for that. Guess I'll have to pay more attention to the pr then

But from my PR experience I can tell that when I did that dp donation, I did an experiment - I put a link to a new site on the donation page and there were only a very few other links to this site... And the site got pr6 in the next update from just one pr7 link!

So I think I'll look into buying just a few pr8 links for my directories once I launch them

 

Oh, also want to add I'm seeing a fluctuation in backlinks as well. My site seems to be fluctuating between 10 and 500 backlinks, weird! Trying to not get too excited, but it's Friday too, so I'm already kinda antsy...

 

So was "paid links" the primary reason everyone got higher PR?

I am seeing movement on 70% of 50+ sites.....

But I dont see the PR 7 8 9 claims lasting through this...nice to think... but few are on the level of Yahoo & MSN and other authority sites.

The PR 7 claims are realistic. But the 8s and 9s seem like fantasies.

Not really. What datacenter are you checking? Use one of the tools.

 

I'm seeing changes on sites that already had PR. I haven't found one newer site of mine that's got PR yet. (newer as in released around last update)

 

Theng, looks PR UPDATE'S love new and fresh pR5 updates, i check some new site they have all same PR5 updates.

 

I'm using a tool that checks about all datacenters. PR is 2 on all of them, just like before
Is the update still going on or something ?

 

I think this update is only for the sites that "missed" the last one, and not for new sites.

My Site is PR 3 to Pr 5 on the following Dataceters we all Hope That it Propagates Faster...

 

One of my sites was registered in late July and went from 0 to 3.
