seeing some changes.. one site going from 4 to a 5.. one from 2 to 3, Internal page increases was kind of hoping my largest site's homepage would go from 5 to 6 as it hasn't changed in about 4 years regarless of what I do..
Quick questions guys, Would google give your site a PR if it isnt atleast 2-3 months old ? Say if i opened a site in august and gained some quality backlinks would google give the site a PR ?
The number of guys viewing this thread is I have a change in PR too but it is across 4 datacenters that were mentioned in this thread a little while back.PR5 reported here
jezza chan, yes I have good PRs so far, but 4-5 are with "0/10" It seems that Matt Cutts pushed the button already
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1487736&postcount=196 Are you seeing it on the d/c's I mentioned in that post? I am seeing an increase on the updated d/c's (66.102.7.99, etc.) for some internal pages...
I panicked at first when I saw my new pr was reverted back to 0 so I checked it on a pagerank checker that shows all of google's datacenters.... I'm so glad because my new pr is still there!
The only difference i noticed on one of my sites was that my internal pages gained PR 4's and homepage stayed the same.
Some gained a bit of PR... But one of my sites with 6,420 reported backlinks went from pr6 to pr0 And I removed the (porn) comment spam that was on that site for a long time, I removed the Co-op that was on there, I reported a proxy that stole content (2 times) and I filed a re-inclusion report where I confess to being a neglecting webmaster.... But, 6.420 backlinks and pr0
Yes. I've had at least five internal pages (that I've checked) increase in PR: PR4 > PR5 PR0 > PR5 PR4 > PR5 PR3 > PR5 PR4 > PR5 One of them is only the sitemap!
Well I can see the PR changing against particular DC's for my site, but there has been no backlink update for them, this would indicate to me that it's not a PR update but G trying something or another out, it's a bit early yet anyway
I think this so called update has happened earlier and now google is exporting the results. Some prove supporting my post, my weblog homepage went from PR0 to PR6 on those DC's, i have also checked some inner pages, many of them went to PR4-5. Thanks to the fact that i run wordpress which is logging the entries dates i can easy check when was the last post that got updated. This is a post that got PR5, it dates from 21st of July: http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u...malisatie/zoekmachine-optimalisatie-succesje/ The next one on 25th of July did not update: http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=http://www.saku.nl/index.php/secret-server/nieuwe-server/ Another prove supporting my post (maybe not so strong): - backlinks on the updated DC's gives as result some links from a website i'm not listed on anymore (i think i removed my link there like a month ago).
Hi Jack That's weird, no BL updates for any of mine, I guess I could be wrong then, there's always a first time for everything
