Back Link & PageRank Update (Sept 28)

I know it's early to ask, but does anyone know when the next up-date will be? I've only been working on links over the last 4 weeks, I think thats not long enough to give my page rank a boast.

ok this is strange... i just checked the prediction tool at iwebtool and it now shows that im a pr 3 with predicted 5 go figure ....

Nobody knows for sure except God and a few guys and girls at Google, but it'll probably take a few months again.

 

That may be due to the screwy August 24 update...
Before that, probably a 4, August 24 updated some d/c's for sites with PR but knocked them all down 1 - giving PR 3 on some d/c's. This event is probably giving you the PR5.

I am seeing new PR on 64.233.189.104 as well. But after what happened in August, I won't get excited by a few d/c's showing me at PR7 just yet. And something seems odd with backlinks...

I checked all datacenters, 2 seem to be showing different PRs. This isnt good news for me it seems, most my important sites are staying the same PR. Two seem to be going down a PR which makes no sense but well see...

 

So this is a full blown pr update? Just a matter of waiting for my sites to update?

earlier i check on my site and it has no PR... 30 minutes ago, i checked again on my site and has PR 5... i just checked it at this moment and the PR is gone...

 

well it is happening as i justed checked on a few other directories that had 0 pr and now showing 4 and the other is showing 5 on the site and was a 4 so we should all see the results shortly.

Strange, but i wouldnt be too worried as PR is all over the place atm, the best thing everyone could do is turn off their computer, and go out for the night before everyone turns insane through checking every minute

 

I just checked another site of mine... no movement for the homepage, but to be certain I checked an internal that was PR0 and was cached Aug. 29th. Still PR0. So I checked an internal PR2 page... shows a 3 on 216.239.51.99 and 216.239.51.104, but those d/c's do not show as updating on the homepage for other domains that are getting new PR.

Can I get a confirm on this? It is possible that those 2 d/c's had different PR all along...

I'm starting to see the PR move over to 6 data centers now.

I was hoping for PR6 on one of my sites, but it's moved to PR5, suppose I shouldn't complain!

 

I bought a new domain less than 48 hours ago - it's still only a landing page with a little text.

It's just become a PR2.

Has anyone noticed a PR change on an internal page - that is established, ie. has PR already. If my homepage increased to PR6, then, I would of expected my 2nd level internals to shift to PR5.

I'm not seeing this at the moment - I'm greedy huh
