Hi, I was just wondering about the exact importance or counts that Google consider in case of back link from an article. Suppose, I have submitted an article with 2 links at body paragraph and 2 at resource/bio box with same keyword (Thus the total link count becomes 4). Now, while crawling that article will Google count all the 4 link as the back link towards my site or it will count only one. What if I had hyper linked with 4 different keywords ? Please share your knowledge regarding this. Thanks in advance. John
if you put 4 links it counts like 4 links. however every link will be 25% less powerful. if you put 4 different keywords on the same link than again it will confuse google as it will not know the exact anchor text for the particular link. i put 2 links on the article body and 2 on the resorces box. the reason i dont it is because there are lots of blogs and site that pulling articles from those directories and not all of them giving a credit from the resources box. so in this way i can trick them to include the link because it`s inside the article.
If you use many sites such as articlabase people tend to omit the bio, so by having the link in the body, you get some exposure.
